In 2010 Jachtwerf Gebr. De Kloet bv exposed on the boatshow “HISWA TE WATER ” in IJmuiden
with a "Retro style" Midget 31' sailing yacht .
Early September this year we were present at the rainy and windy boat show HISWA TE WATER 2011 in IJmuiden with our Midget 26'.
Dutch solo sailer in a Midget 26 met on the high seas Laura Dekker, the young dutch girl that sails solo around the world as the youngest yachtswoman ever.
She mentioned on 6-7-2011 on her weblog that at about 140 nautical miles on their way to Tonga, while they bobbed
alongside for a while, he played some songs on his accordeon for her. She made a picture of this encounter. (See picture alongside)
